Are your security dogs safe around staff and the public?
Yes. Our dogs are licensed, insured and trained to NASDU standards, and are always under the close control of a certified handler. Handler and dog are assessed as a bonded team, never mixed and matched.
When is a K9 unit the right choice?
Large open sites, high-value plant, scrap and metal yards, and any site with a history of repeat intrusion. It is also effective for search and detection work at events.
How much does a security dog handler cost?
A K9 unit costs more per hour than a single officer and usually does the work of more than one, so the comparison is rarely like for like. We quote once the survey confirms a dog is genuinely the right answer.
Are security dogs licensed and insured?
Every handler holds an SIA licence, and every dog is trained and certified to NASDU or BIPDT standard with current insurance. A dog never works without its own certified handler.
